My son and daughter loooove Sew & Co! My son is kindy age & it has been so good for him to sit quietly & use fine motor skills. They are both so proud of all their projects. They use the library bags every week, rest on their cushions each night for books & play games with their teddies; they get pushed around in their prams. My nine year old has been doing Sew & Co for the last three terms (the only school extra curricular activity that she's stuck with!) and she loves it. The projects are interesting and varied and she's learned a lot. So much so that the other day, after she'd repeatedly asked me to sew up a rip in her nightgown, I went into her bedroom to find her doing it herself!! Really great sewing school for kids - my daughter loves it. They teach a large range of stiches and techniques across a wide range of projects. Kids can choose amongst various projects and fabrics. What a gem. Based in the Cottesloe Primary school grounds classes are approximately an hour each session. Children hand and machine sew their choice of item. The teacher is assisted by another adult. Classes are small and intimate. Mrs Potter is very professional, encouraging and well organised. Our Taylor can’t wait for her Tuesday afternoon lesson. — Ronnie Giles, Parent
